I’ve had this C7 for ~10 years – it has spent much of that time reliably driving Gents slave clocks, with astonishing accuracy. I’m guessing that this clock came from their Bedminster (Bristol) factory, which given its size must have been a significant installation, & that the ‘Y/2071’ marking on the case, and the circular stamped brass disc inside the case, is some form of Wills asset tag..
