Substantial, reliable movement with heavy silver contacts. Hammer and shaft operates at back of gong through flameproof bearing. Enclosed in cast metal case with machine faced flanges. Separate terminal compartment. Tapped &” conduit entry at side. Covers secured by triangular-head bolts removable only by special key. Fitted with 6″ resonant dome gong.

CERTIFICATE

F.L.P.1565 issued by the Ministry of Power certifies that the Fig. 1086 Bell complies with the British Standards Specification of a flameproof enclosure in respect of Group 2-Petroleum and Acetone Vapours: Group 3 (Report P163) Town & Coke Oven Gas etc. for use on A.C. or D.C. circuits at 6 volts to 250 volts. Also certified and can be specially wound for up to 440 volts A.C.

N.B. When ordering please state clearly operating voltage. A frequency of 40/60 cycles on A.C. is assumed.
