This is an interesting little clock. It’s on 110 volts. My first thought was it was for the American Market. But it can’t be as it’s 50 hertz . America uses 60 hertz. So why was this clock ever made on 110 volts for our market. On asking round the best answer
I could find is it was made for a factory control panel. Apparently even up to the very early 1960s the odd factory was still on 110volts. The reason being the supply company still provided 110v as to convert the factory to 240 volt and having to scrap practically every electrical item was not viable. . Unless anyone knows different.
